I can’t help but look at the stuff going on in the world and shake my damn head. This story is truly sad and it basically shows that we as a community need to stand up and protect our own against ignorance. First, I read about a father shooting his child due to molesting his little sister and now this. Sorry but to much nonsense going in the world right now. I am starting to believe this 2012 BS. A 15-year-old girl was caught in the middle of a Bronx shootout while walking home from school yesterday — and was fighting for her life early today after taking a bullet to the head.
Vada Vasquez was chatting with a friend at around 3:45 p.m. on the corner of Home Street and Prospect Avenue, just steps from their high school, Bronx Latin, when gunfire erupted between two groups of men.
Vada, struck by a stray bullet, was in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital.
A 19-year-old man who cops said was the intended target was hit in the abdomen and leg; he, too, was in critical condition.
Sad, truly sad! I will definitely be praying for the world not just this family!
